All guests have full use of the barbecue and covered eating area beside the lake. In the grounds there is a small camping area for eight caravans or tents, with a shower block and dishwashing facilities. So you can holiday with family and friends who like to camp. The boulangerie van calls on Friday and Sat in the summer but if you miss her there is a baker in the village and a very reasonable restaurant with a set four course meal with wine all for around 13€.We also offer an evening meal if you book in the morning. A welcome pack of basics is in the gites when you arrive and I can shop for other things if you send a list in advance. We have a selection of brochures in the gites or you can visit the tourist information for the latest what's on. ActivitiesYou will find a lot to see and do in the area you could follow the route of Richard the Lionheart, visit Oradour-sur-glane, the martyr village, or you may like to walk or cycle around the Monts de Blond. In high season you can swim in the lakes with man made beaches at Cieux or Lac St.Pardoux with life guard surveillance. Then there is the pretty village of Mortemart less than 2km away where you can linger over lunch or a drink ,and marvel at the dwellings from Jean Jaques café If you enjoy golf there is a course 3km away. Bellac has a swimming pool and supermarkets and Limoges is a must for the fine porcelain and Aquarium. There are many markets ,brocante and depot vent to search through, if you like looking for bargains, maybe a french bed or armoir.
